In honor of summer’s highly anticipated boxing blockbuster “Southpaw,” LES MILLS® BODYCOMBAT® Master Trainer Will Pritchard put together a classic workout for 24Life.
WARMUP
Shadowboxing combo for 5 minutes
- Jab Cross (repeat several times, each time punching harder)
- Jab Cross Hook (repeat several times, each time punching harder)
- Jab Cross Hook Cross (repeat several times, each time punching harder)
- Uppercut left and right (repeat several times, each time punching harder)
- Continuous Jab Cross 30-45 sec for speed (repeat 4 times, rest 30 sec)
- Continuous Uppercuts left/right 30-45 sec (repeat 4 times, rest 30 sec)
CIRCUIT TRAINING
Builds core strength, cardiovascular and muscular endurance. 1 minute for each exercise (30 sec rest if needed in between each exercise)
- Jump Rope
- Burpees
- Jump Rope
- Push-ups
- Jump Rope
- Sit-ups
- Jump Rope
- Bodyweight Squat, then Squat Jump
- Jump Rope
- Plank
REST 2 minutes, then repeat 2-4 times.
