We know that reading on devices or watching television at night can disrupt our sleep. The blue light emitted by our cell phones, laptops and television sets is disruptive to our circadian rhythms.

So leave it to Apple to find a way for your device to adapt the color of your display to warmer hues based on your location and time zone. The app, Night Shift, knows when it’s sunset wherever you are, and adjusts your device’s lighting accordingly. The display settings are restored to normal in the morning.
