Knockout Moves

In honor of summer’s highly anticipated boxing blockbuster “Southpaw,” LES MILLS® BODYCOMBAT® Master Trainer Will Pritchard put together a classic workout for 24Life.

WARMUP

Shadowboxing combo for 5 minutes

  1. Jab Cross (repeat several times, each time punching harder)
  2. Jab Cross Hook (repeat several times, each time punching harder)
  3. Jab Cross Hook Cross (repeat several times, each time punching harder)
  4. Uppercut left and right (repeat several times, each time punching harder)
  5. Continuous Jab Cross 30-45 sec for speed (repeat 4 times, rest 30 sec)
  6. Continuous Uppercuts left/right 30-45 sec (repeat 4 times, rest 30 sec)

CIRCUIT TRAINING

Builds core strength, cardiovascular and muscular endurance. 1 minute for each exercise (30 sec rest if needed in between each exercise)

  1. Jump Rope
  2. Burpees
  3. Jump Rope
  4. Push-ups
  5. Jump Rope
  6. Sit-ups
  7. Jump Rope
  8. Bodyweight Squat, then Squat Jump
  9. Jump Rope
  10. Plank

REST 2 minutes, then repeat 2-4 times.
