How Baron Baptiste Finds the “Yes” in His Daily Life

Author and acclaimed international yoga teacher Baron Baptiste helps people find “Yes! Energy” in their lives through meditation and physical movement.

24Life recently sat down with Baptiste to take a look into his daily routine, workouts and more.

24Life: How much sleep do you get and do you have any rituals around rest?

Baron Baptiste (BB): I try to get eight hours of sleep a night and meditate before bed and first thing in the morning.

24Life: What’s your morning ritual? Does it change when you have a performance or presentation?

BB: Meditation, yoga, hiking and weight training.

24Life: How do you eat for performance?

BB: Healthy – with a lot of protein, organic food, and minimum gluten and carbs.

24Life: What are you most passionate about, outside of fitness?

BB: My three boys: Luke, Jake and Malachi.

24Life: What has been the most surprising thing you’ve learned about yourself so far in your professional career?

BB: That yoga could be a lifelong profession.

24Life: What three words best describe your mindset?

BB: Ease, grounded, fun.

24Life: What book is on your nightstand?

BB: “Atlas Shrugged” by Ayn Rand.

24Life: What’s one new thing you want to learn to do or one new thing you’d like to try this year?

BB: I would like to fly a plane.

24Life: What’s the most helpful piece of advice you’ve ever received in your career – in a sentence or two?

BB: It’s hard to narrow it down, there have been so many.
